Dahabo Ahmed-Omer is Chief Executive Officer of BlackNorth Initiative, where she leads one of Canada’s most influential organizations advancing economic opportunity and dismantling systemic barriers facing Black Canadians. Working at the intersection of business, government, philanthropy and community, she mobilizes leaders and institutions to turn commitments into measurable change. Under her leadership, BlackNorth has expanded its national reach and impact through transformative initiatives in leadership development, education, homeownership, entrepreneurship and corporate engagement.
Dahabo is a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal, The Globe and Mail’s Business Changemakers recognition, and the Most Influential Person of African Descent honour. She also serves on the Board of the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, helping shape a more inclusive and prosperous Canada.
