Ravipal Bains is a Director and Senior Counsel, Capital Markets at BCI. Previously, he was a Partner (M&A and Capital Markets) at McMillan LLP. He has also served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Business Council of British Columbia and the South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia.
Globally, he has been recognized as a David Rockefeller Fellow at the Trilateral Commission and as a Millennium Leadership Fellow at the Atlantic Council. He also worked at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands. Born and raised in rural Punjab, he is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and holds an undergraduate degree from Panjab University, India.
