At 35, Eric Carriere leads Lumber Sales at West Fraser, overseeing commercial strategy and market execution across a business representing over 5 billion board feet a year. Based in Quesnel, BC, he has spent 12 years with the company, progressing from sales representative to senior leadership across multiple product lines. Eric led the turnaround of West Fraser's treated wood business, reshaping its commercial strategy and positioning it for growth.
In addition to his sales responsibilities, he leads company-wide Sales Operations, driving the modernization of sales systems and improving how teams use data to make decisions. Passionate about developing future leaders, Eric is committed to helping others reach their potential by removing barriers, creating opportunities and fostering an environment where people can succeed. Outside of work, he raises a young family in rural BC and values the opportunity to work in an industry that has provided careers, stability and opportunity for generations.
