Dan Eberhard is Founder and CEO of KOHO, one of Canada’s leading fintech companies, built to make financial services more transparent, accessible and affordable. Since founding KOHO in 2014, Dan has led the company to serve more than 2.5 million Canadians and recently secured a $130M CAD Series E at a $1.33B valuation to support KOHO’s growth and continued pursuit of a Schedule 1 banking licence.
Under his leadership, KOHO has expanded Canadians’ access to modern financial tools across spending, savings, credit-building, overdraft protection, direct Interac e-Transfer participation, crypto, remittance and more. A repeat entrepreneur, Dan previously built and exited renewable-energy company Kineticor.
