As EVP & President of Intact Insurance, Peter Janzen leads the strategy and performance of Canada’s largest P&C insurer across its broker distribution network while bringing sharp focus to sustainable growth, operational excellence, and customers and broker experience. Peter joined Intact via the RSA acquisition in 2021 and played a key role in the integration by bringing depth to underwriting capabilities, sharpening operational discipline, and elevating broker relationships through deeper partnership and expertise.
In recent years, he has focused on national harmonization strategies to optimize growth, enhance customer experience, and deliver strong employee engagement. Peter is a member of the United Way’s Greater Toronto Campaign Cabinet, a graduate of Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation. He currently lives in Toronto with his wife and son.
