Matthew Parker-Jones is Senior Vice President, International Commercial Banking at Scotiabank. Based in Mexico City, he leads the Bank’s Commercial Banking business across Latin America and the Caribbean, strengthening trade and investment between Canada and the Americas and supporting businesses as they expand internationally.
Throughout his career, Matthew has championed innovation in banking and helped modernize the financial infrastructure that enables businesses to move money, invest, and grow. Before joining Scotiabank, he was a Managing Director and senior global leader in payments at JPMorgan Chase. He has also been recognized by American Banker as one of the Most Innovative People in Finance.
Matthew serves on the Board of Directors of Payments Canada and is passionate about developing future leaders and connecting people, businesses, and ideas across borders.
