Founder & Managing Partner
Chrysalis Collective
Stephanie Wetmore is an investor, operator, former professional athlete, and the Founder and Managing Partner of Chrysalis Collective, an early-stage venture platform backing female founders across sport, consumer, wellness, and media. Chrysalis is built on the thesis that the commercial ecosystem surrounding women’s sport is the category’s most undercapitalized asset class, and combines early-stage investment with hands-on incubation to help its portfolio companies build and scale.
A top-ranked Canadian junior, Stephanie earned a tennis scholarship to UCLA, where she was an NCAA National Champion and competed on the WTA Tour. She later led a turnaround of Piloti as Managing Director, rebuilding the performance footwear brand and securing partnerships with Formula 1, Selfridges, and General Motors. She holds a BA in Sociology from UCLA, a Master of Professional Studies in Sports Management from Georgetown, an MA in Communication from Stanford, and an MBA from Oxford.
