Courtney is a respected corporate and community leader because of a commitment made early in her career to balance business with beliefs. Today as Vice President, External Affairs for Atlantic Lottery, a $1.2 billion dollar corporation, she oversees regulatory affairs, shareholder relations, information management, communications, corporate brand, social media and corporate reputation. During her rapid rise to the senior leadership team, Courtney still maintained a deep dedication to public service and life-long learning. She has run for provincial office, has served on numerous charitable boards, chaired fundraising galas for the Canadian Cancer Society that raised over $200,000, and is a past member of the Order of New Brunswick Advisory Council. She was honored with the Canada 150 award and named a YWCA Woman of Distinction in 2018. She has completed programs with the Schools of Public Health and Law at Harvard University and is currently finishing her MPA at Dalhousie University.
