Matias founded Buyatab in 2009 and has grown the company into a global leader in digital gift-giving.Buyatab partners with globally recognized brands such as Whole Foods Market, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels, Cineplex Entertainment, Tim Hortons, The Gap, Saks Off Fifth, Fairmont Hotels, Hudson’s Bay and many more. Matias has received many awards for his entrepreneurial success, including being recognized as a 2016 BC Business Top 30 Under 30 and 2016 EY Entrepreneur of the year. He is an active advisor to early-stage technology companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
