Dominique is the Chief Executive Officer of Bennett Jones and actively represents and advises clients in intellectual property matters. Her practice spans all aspects of IP litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on pharma/biotech and energy-related patents and trademarks. She also advises on trademark, patent, copyright, trade secret, and regulatory matters, particularly in the life sciences, food, and health sectors. Dominique is highly regarded for structuring and negotiating complex strategic settlements and guiding clients through the IP aspects of corporate transactions.
Before joining Bennett Jones, Dominique practiced at a prominent New York law firm, focusing on pharmaceutical patent litigation and regulatory matters. She is a frequent speaker, writer, and educator on advocacy, litigation, and leadership. She taught in the IP moot program at the University of Toronto law school for more than a decade. Dominique has held a number of leadership roles in the legal community, including President of The Advocates’ Society, and currently serves on the boards of the BlackNorth Initiative and the Stratford Festival.
