Kent Bowie is the President & CEO of Metrie, headquartered in Vancouver, BC. Established in 1926 as a family owned and operated company, Metrie is North America's leading manufacturer and distributor of solid wood and MDF millwork products, with thirty two distribution centers and seven solid wood and MDF manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada.
Kent has enjoyed 34+ years in the building materials industry and has held a number of senior management roles with Metrie in that time. Over his career Kent has had leadership and oversight in the functional areas of sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations. Prior to being awarded President & C.E.O., Kent was Executive Vice President, responsible for leading Metrie’s Sales and Marketing organizations. Kent has been with Metrie since 2001, and in the role of CEO since 2018. He has been a member of the Metrie Executive Leadership Team since 2005.
Kent attended Simon Fraser University in BC, completed the Stanford Executive program in 2007, and the Stanford Executive Marketing program in 2013. Kent received his MBA from Queen’s University in 2016.
