Poonam Singh is Vice Chair at Deloitte, where she leads critical market initiatives and advises global organizations on governance, organizational transformation, and enterprise cost strategies. Previously, as Managing Partner for Deloitte’s Risk Advisory business in Canada and Chile, she was a member of the Executive of Deloitte Canada and the global Executive for Risk Advisory. Her role encompassed setting the vision and strategy for growing a world class risk consulting business – this included developing and commercializing solutions with clients, alliance partners and the broader global firm, evaluating and implementing both organic and inorganic (M&A) growth platforms, recruitment and successful assimilation of senior leaders, development of our market strategy, leading the performance management of our partners and leaders, investing in our run / operate business and successfully optimizing our operations with a view of sustainable and responsible earnings growth.
Poonam is recognized for her expertise in building and institutionalizing relationships with C-suite executives and board members. She advises global organizations on governance, enterprise performance, sustainable cost management and organizational transformation. She also has extensive experience in leading program turnarounds, including realigning complex clients and revitalizing at-risk engagements.
Poonam has a brand synonymous with entrepreneurship, incubating and commercializing new solutions, and developing high-performing teams. She is huge champion of women and has sponsored several senior women into our partnership.
In addition to her leadership at Deloitte, Poonam serves on the board of the Toronto French School and is passionate about education, bringing a global perspective to learning and raising resilient kids.
