Andea Seale joined the Canadian Cancer Society in 2018, motivated by the opportunity to make a difference for the 2 in 5 Canadians who will be diagnosed with cancer. As one of Canada's largest and most impactful charities, the Canadian Cancer Society is transforming the future of cancer prevention and care. Staff and volunteers work tirelessly to advance cancer research, provide compassionate support to those in need, and advocate for stronger health policies for all.
Under Andrea's leadership the Canadian Cancer Society has been recognized as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures™ by Waterstone Human Capital and Best Nonprofit Employer – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by CharityVillage. Andrea has been honoured as Outstanding Fundraising Professional by AFP Vancouver and is a YWCA BC Women of Distinction Award nominee. She holds a Diploma in Public Relations from Mount Royal University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from McGill University.
